R&D / Industry
TechnoSport offers a unique meeting ground for industry, researchers, trainers and sport practitioners to collaborate on innovation and reseach projects designed to enhance sport performance and movement production in general.
OUR SPECIALITIES :
Study of athletic and pathological movement, and more specifically of human-machine interaction.
IN PARTICULAR :
• Biomechanical, physiological, neuroscience and psycho-sociological studies of athletic and pathological movement
• Modelling and simulations relating to sports equipment
• Ergonomic analysis and development of sports equipment
• Sociological study of sport management and development
• Training based on biomechanical and physiological methodologies

The TechnoSport team place a strong priority on understandind the needs of industry and assuring good responsiveness, simple procedures and usable results.
OUR SERVICES
The services we offer range from diagnosis to testing according to the company’s needs. Research spaces, offices, scientific equipment and technicians are all available for hire.
PROTISAVLOR and SATT- south-east :
A private company and a subsidiary of the university, Protisvalor manages and facilitates legal, administrative and financial aspects arising between partners. The technology transfer accelerator company SATT Sud-Est is committed to improving the transfer of expertise from our study rooms to the economic sector.
OUR SUPPORT LABORATORIES :
TechnoSport is supported by the Etienne-Jules Marey Institute of Movement Sciences (www.ism.univmed.fr), comprising researchers and technicians devoted to a single objective: studying and understanding human movement.
This laboratory has successfully established numerous industrial collaborations, including a Chair with Oxylane and an Open Lab with PSA as well as collaborations with Adidas, Gymnova, EADS, Eurocopter and others.
The Institute of Movement Sciences is now part of the Carnot Institutes network, enabling it to establish operational relationships with other laboratories in order to promote research designed to benefit business.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND EQUIPMENT RESOURCES
• 3,000 m2 indoor space and 21,000 m2 outdoor space.
- Five dedicated experimentation rooms
- Gymnasium, weights room, outdoor sports fields equipped for movement analysis
- Outdoor track which can be equipped with instruments for experimental testing, walking, mountain biking in real-life situations
